Jason has consulted in the information technology field since 1996. He has experience in business development, internal controls design and implementation, Sarbanes-Oxley 404 implementation and attestation, data analysis, fraud identification, information protection consulting, project management, and hardware and software integration. Jason leads enterprise and IT risk assessment projects for companies of all sizes, for various purposes including pre- and post-acquisition due diligence, enterprise risk management, internal audit, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

Amy Stillwell, Principal, Moss Adams

Amy has practiced public accounting since 2003. She provides tax services, including tax planning and transaction and entity structuring to businesses and their owners. She also manages large buy-sell transactions, sale closing, and family ownership transitions.

James Creech, JD, Principal, Baker Tilly

James is a principal with Baker Tilly’s specialty tax practice. In this role, James is responsible for advising on complex tax returns, defending taxpayers who are under IRS or state taxing authority examination, appealing agency actions and providing litigation support if the taxpayer is suing the United States over a tax position. In addition, he is responsible for working with the IRS and various state agencies to file amended or delinquent returns or abatement of penalties.

James is frequently called upon to provide legal advice regarding interpretations of federal, state and local, revenue codes, regulations and jurisprudence. He provides guidance on the standards of tax practice, the weight of tax authority and application of developing areas of economics and law to particular taxpayer’s facts and circumstances.

Erik Smithweiss, Partner, GDLSK

Erik represents clients on issues before US Customs and Border Protection, Department of Commerce, Office of Foreign Assets Control, Food & Drug Administration, Consumer Product Safety Commission and other agencies that regulate the international trade in goods. His practice involves import restrictions, rules of origin, preferential trade agreements, marking and labeling, valuation, tariff classification, antidumping and countervailing duty compliance, fish and wildlife restrictions, and similar matters.

Erik’s practice includes export controls and sanction programs administered by various agencies.

Nick Bennenbroek, Managing Director and International Economist, Wells Fargo

Nick is a managing director and international economist for Wells Fargo Corporate & Investment Banking, based in New York. With more than two decades of experience as a market economist and in policy analysis, Nick provides commentary on global macroeconomic developments and foreign exchange markets through several Wells Fargo publications, with a focus on both developed and emerging economies. Nick's analysis of international economics, central banks, and currency markets helps to support clients as they operate in global markets.
