Chris began his public accounting career in 1998. He’s a tax principal and real estate private equity leader at Baker Tilly, where he advises clients across the investment lifecycle with a focus on transaction tax, strategic planning, and consulting. Chris works with institutional investors, developers, and sponsors to structure deals, help optimize after-tax returns, and navigate complex federal and state tax implications.
Chris brings a proactive, solution-oriented approach to his work—anticipating risks, identifying opportunities, and aligning tax strategy with broader investment goals. He regularly consults on entity structuring, partnership tax matters, M&A, and fund formation, with a practical understanding of how tax impacts the real-world economics of a deal.
